How the Abortion Pill Works
A medical abortion usually involves two drugs:

Abortion pill reversal works by adding progesterone back into the body to counter mifepristone’s effects and continue the pregnancy.
The APR process should begin as soon as possible, ideally within 24 to 72 hours after taking mifepristone. However, success has been reported even after that window. The sooner you begin treatment, the higher the likelihood of success.
Progesterone has been safely used in pregnancy care for over 50 years to support women at risk for miscarriage. Studies show that 64–68% of women who start APR within the recommended timeframe are able to continue their pregnancies.
